2016 GENERAL MEETING

MC reminds the Committee of an earlier decision to review the date of the next AGM with the view of choosing a time of the year which was approaching summer. As requested he had discussions regarding a suitable date with a number of Members who regularly attend the meeting. There is clearly a preference for the spring when the weather no longer is so
inclement. He suggests that the Committee consider Wednesday, 12 October 2016. This is just after the school holidays.
He furthermore requests the Committee to indicate whether the format of last year’s meeting was going to be repeated, i.e. that the agenda was to be supported by reports in respect of the pertinent matters. The reports are to have a Committee recommendation which Members at the meeting were to simply adopt, amend or refer back for further consideration. The members are supportive of the format.

Resolved:

1. That the Annual General Meeting 2016 is to be scheduled for Wednesday, 12 October 2016.
2. That the format of the AGM is to be based upon that of the last year’s meeting.
