Introduction to the Newly Elected Trustees and their Management Committee Function

Dear Member/s,
- During the course of the last Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 30 October 2019 Members made mention of the fact that they are not always that well acquainted with the Trustees serving on the Association’s Management Committee as well as with the functions they perform in the process.
- The serving Trustees who were elected by the Members at the AGM 2019 appear on the photograph below. They are elected for a term of office of one year, i.e. they will serve the Association until the election of Trustees at the forthcoming AGM which will be held towards the end of
The members of the Management Committee are from left to right:
- Mr Ben Cooper serving in the portfolio of Horticultural Maintenance Services and Building Plans & Maintenance;
- Mr Deon Scheepers serving in the portfolio of Security and Occupational Health and Safety;
- Mr Albert van Zyl serving in the capacity of Chairman with the additional portfolio of Legal Services & Grievances;
- Mr Marius Coetzee employed by the Association as Village Manager;
- Mr Ian Gordon serving in the capacity of Secretary; and
- Mr Leon Smit serving in the capacity of Treasurer.
