PROPERTY INSPECTOR OF THE CITY OF CAPE TOWN DOING THE ROUNDS IN THE SUMMERWOOD VILLAGE
Dear Member/Resident,
- The City of Cape Town’s Valuations Department currently has one of its Property Inspectors, Mr Williams, doing the rounds within the village. Properties which have been randomly selected are being visited in order to determine whether the valuation which was recently completed needs to be adjusted. He clearly displays his official identification card when visiting any specific property.
- Mr Williams has explained that the inspection could be to the advantage of property owners in Summerwood. The fact has been established that the valuation totals applicable to properties in Summerwood could be slightly over-inflated. Due to the age of the village the possibility exists for the valuation to be adjusted and fixed at a lower level.
- The official credentials of Mr Williams have been cleared by the Village Manager and our security personnel at the entrance.
